Dr. Randi D. Ward earned a master's in education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented at Marshall University in 1979 and a B.A. in Language Arts at Marshall University. Dr. Ward began her career as a remedial reading and English teacher at a WV junior high school, after which she taught throughout schools in both West Virginia and Georgia for a total of 37 years. Throughout the course of her professional journey, Dr. Ward also served as an English (ESOL) teacher in Cairo, Egypt, where she additionally worked as the owner and instructor of 6 October English Institute and Rise Up. Dr. Ward is also a certified harmony life coach, emotional and holistic intelligence coach, and an NLP practitioner.
She is now a Book Writing Coach and Master Editor. As an accomplished and international best-selling writer, Dr. Ward is the author of "Random Wandering," "Because I Believed in Me (My Egyptian Fantasy Came True)," "Quarentena and Beyond," "Global Achievers, Vol. I and 2," “The Red Blazers,” “100 Successful Women in Business, Vol. 1 and 2,” “Expert World Leaders Book,” “Finding Joy in the Journey, Vol. 2,” “Hoinser 2021,” and "A Cup of Love" as well as more than 140 inspirational and educational blogs. She also served as Editor-in-Chief of several of these books and is currently the Editor of 2 magazines---“Inspirations for Better Living” and “Morocco Pens”. Her most recent magazine article is in Canvas Rebel published in August 2022.
Dr. Ward has been honored with many awards. These are some of them. She was named “Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 in the Education Industry” by Worldwide Who’s Who and was profiled in the month of March in the 2015 Worldwide Branding calendar. In 2015 she was honored as this organization’s Distinguished Worldwide Humanitarian of the Year and as a Top Female Executive in 2014 as well an Inductee, Elite American Artist (2015). Her other awards and credentials include the following: National Association of Professional Women (NAPW now IAW) where she was named 2014-15 VIP Woman of the Year, an elite member and 2015 Delegate of the International Women’s Leadership Association (IWLA), a 2014 Pinnacle Professional Member of Continental Who’s Who, an elite VIP member of Strathmore’s Worldwide Who’s Who where she was featured on a full page profile in its book, and 2015 Professional of the Year with International Association of Who’s Who. She appeared in a YouTube interview video with President Beth Johnston of IWLA and was featured on the cover of IWLA’s May/June 2016 edition of Inspirational Woman Magazine with one of her articles entitled Taking the Needed Risks. In an October 2016 edition of Women of Distinction Magazine, she was featured in a four-page article as an Author/Entrepreneur. On this magazine’s website is a 30-minute podcast interview about Dr. Ward. In May 2017 she was named Top Professional of the Year by International Association of Top Professionals and received this award at the Awards Gala at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Battery Park, in New York City, on December 16, 2017. She was honored as its 2018 Top Female Professional and Empowered Woman on December 15, 2018, at the Awards Gala at the Plaza Hotel, NYC. She introduced the gala and IAOTP’s President Stephanie Cirami at the formal dinner. She was named 2022 Top Inspirational Entrepreneur and in 2020, she was honored as IAOTP’s 2021 Educator of the Decade and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the December 11, 2021 gala at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. In July 2017 she became a lifetime member of Marquis Who’s Who. In August 2017 she was named “A Woman of Excellence” by Marquis Who’s Who and then named a Top Professional in September by this same prestigious organization. She appeared in T.I.P. (Top Industry Professional) magazine published by IAOTP and as an Outstanding Author in POWER magazine (Marquis Who’s Who) in 2018. She appeared on the cover of the hard copy and online magazine called “Millennium” with a full-page story as a Lifetime Achievement Member in 2019. Top 100 Registry has named her as 2019 Top Female Editor of Georgia, 2020 Woman of the Year in Writing and 2020 Woman of the Year in Language Arts. On October 12, 2019, she conducted a book talk with 5 other writers and members of their Scribblers Christian Writers group at the Five Forks Trickum Library in Gwinnett County, GA. She was highlighted in the VoyageATL magazine as a local author/entrepreneur. On November 4, 2019, she did an interview on Alternative Arts, and on November 8, 2019, a one-hour live radio program was done with show host Doug Dahlgren. She received a 2020 “She Inspires Me” award from Ada Gartermann and her staff in London, England, and became a member and the event coordinator of the Florida Chapter, USA, with World Women Convention & Awards as well as being an active participant in the “We Are the Change” movement under the leadership of Caroline Makaka in London, England, and as the USA Advisor for the International Youth Society. She received The Beautiful Survivor Award from LOANI in the UK. She appeared as the Spotlight Feature in the Marshall University video included. On June 19, 2021, she humbly received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism from International Global Alliance University and a USA Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service from Biden. She was honored with The 100 Global Women Award in June 2021 by CD Wilson and 100 Most Successful Women around the World Award. In July 2021 she received the International Humanitarian Medal for International Nelson Mandela Day. In December 2021 she received a USA Presidential Lifetime Service Award. She received the 2021 Humanitarian Award and 2021 Vision Builder Award from GSFE --- Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs and was the Chief Judge for Singapore Poetry Composition 2021 sponsored by Aesthetics International Council for Progressive Women. She was selected as 2021 Real Hero and Legend by Jeevan Jyoti Sansthan Pawan Anchara Philanthropy Centre (India). Also in 2021, she was recognized with a Princess Peace Award LOANI, UK and a Future Leaders Entity Award (Egypt). Her 2022 honors include Hoinser the following: Inspirational Leader of Excellence Award; Women of Heart (WOHA) Selfless Servant Award; World Record of the Earth Inspirational Woman (India); International Human Rights Ambassadors Award; Hoinser Top 20 Inspirational Woman Award (Algeria); Leading Woman from Egyptian International Organization of Ambassadors; HERA Award (South Africa); World Records of the Universe Most Influential/Inspiring/Iconic Woman of the Universe from IDYM Group of Companies; Lifetime Achievement Award from Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide, LOANI Global Honorary Woman of Valor and Courage Award; and a Global Directory of Who’s Who Award.
Civically, Dr. Ward is active with the Africa Nomad Conservation (Kenya), the International Youth Society, World Peace Forest (Africa), LOANI, WOHA, GSFE, and WWCA.
Besides her love for animals, traveling, and meeting new people around the world, she enjoys photography, reading to learn new ideas every day, personal fitness training, shopping and finding bargains, dancing and music, and chatting online with her 5000 Facebook friends and 3400+ followers in 60 countries as well as video chatting with some of them.
She was married to her recently deceased husband Bill for 47 years and has one son Mark, the art director of Germany’s Readers Digest. She now shares her life with her Saint Bernard dog Savannah.
